Who We Are
The Baker:
Katie Baker is the nom de pie of an artist living and working in Seattle. An epiphany in New York City led her to devote her life to finding redemption though pie. She lives, and bakes, in a 1907 flop house turned housing co-operative -- a space she shares with 21 adults, 3 children, 2 pet rats, innumerable uninvited mice and 1 ghost. No one is sure why she refers to herself in the third person so frequently.
The Beleaguered Apprentice:
The Beleaguered Apprentice prefers to remain anonymous, with good reason. His motto is “bake baked” and when not slaving for the Baker, he supports the White Sox and reads incessantly. No one is sure how he puts up with the Baker, but it might have something to do with how she closes up shop two weeks annually so he can go to Burning Man.
